Questions
Is DoBuddy free?
Yes. DoBuddy is free to download and use, with no in-app purchases. A short, optional video ad unlocks theme and buddy changes for a while; that is how the app stays free.
Do I need an account?
No. You can use DoBuddy without signing in, and your planner stays on your phone. Sign in with Google only if you want to sync between devices, add friends and keep your points and room in the cloud.
Which phones does DoBuddy work on?
DoBuddy is available for Android phones on Google Play.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Tasks, reminders and the focus timer all work without internet. If you are signed in, changes sync the next time you are online.
Who is Bud?
Bud is the little sprout in a green scarf who keeps you company in DoBuddy. Bud and all the other buddies are original characters drawn just for this app, and you can dress them up with what you earn.
What happens to my data?
Your data is never sold or used to train AI. Anonymous usage statistics are only sent if you turn them on. You can export or delete everything from Settings at any time.
